The Uchiha Clan is one of Konoha's four noble families. They are said to be the village's strongest because of their Sharingan and natural battle prowess.
The Uchiha are descended from Hagoromo Otsutsuki's elder son, Indra Otsutsuki. They inherited Hagoromo's "eyes" through Indra, which granted them great spiritual energy and chakra.
Uchiha are vulnerable to tremendous emotions as a result of the so-called "Curse of Hatred". These emotions often begin as love for a friend or family member and eventually become overpowering hatred when the object of their love is lost. This loss, whether actually experienced or merely threatened, awakens an Uchiha's Sharingan.
The Sharingan's capacity to see chakra, predict opponents' movements, cast numerous genjutsu, replicate opponents' jutsu, and create new dimensions is extremely versatile.
Sharingan can be evolved into Mangekyo Sharingan by experiencing loss of a loved one, granting the user new and more powerful jutsu.
Overuse of the Mangekyo, on the other hand, eventually robs the user of their sight, which can only be restored by receiving another's eyes, preferably a sibling's, in order to produce "Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan."
An Uchiha's pride is in its eyes (sharingan); the stronger the sharingan, the stronger the individual.
In this post, we’ll be reviewing the top 5 strongest Uchiha member from the bottom up.
5. Shisui Uchiha
Shisui of the Body Flicker Technique was one of the very few Uchihas to be spared from the “Curse of Hatred” as he didn't kill anyone close to him in order to earn his mangekyo sharingan. Shisui witnessed his friend die on a mission, consequently awakening the Mangekyo Sharingan as he felt responsible.
He was one of the few Uchiha who genuinely cared about the prosperity of the Hidden Leaf.
His Mangekyo Sharingan bestowed him with the ability of Kotoamatsukami, allowing him to cast a powerful genjutsu capable of controlling others without their knowledge. Despite the fact that the ability was potent, Shisui never really demonstrated how to use it properly. He also lost this eye to Danzo, demonstrating once again that he wasn't as powerful as the others.
4. Itachi Uchiha
Itachi was a natural born prodigy who excelled in everything. He was compelled to massacre his whole clan in order to save his younger brother and Konoha, since the entire clan was plotting to topple the Hokage and gain control of the Konoha village.
Itachi Uchiha was one of the finest, if not the finest, Mangekyo Sharingan users in the series. He awakened his Mangekyo Sharingan after Shisui Uchiha's death. Over time, he honed it to the point where he could utilize the Tsukuyomi and Amaterasu's abilities.
Itachi is a well-rounded ninja who is proficient in a variety of jutsu techniques, including taijutsu, genjutsu, Bukijutsu, and others. A magnificent warrior indeed.
3. Obito Uchiha
Obito Uchiha was a prominent Antagonist throughout the series. He was believed to have died during the Third Shinobi World War, his only surviving legacy being the Sharingan he gave to his teammate Kakashi Hatake. He awakened his Mangekyo Sharingan after witnessing Rin die, Obito's eye granted him the ability of Kamui, a powerful space-time ninjutsu.
Obito was saved from death and trained by Madara Uchiha which he was then manipulated to take on his goals and desires to create a new world. With the support of Kabuto Yakushi, he started the Fourth Great Ninja War. Later on, in the series, he had a change of heart and, as penance, gave his life to preserve the world he had set out to destroy.
2. Madara Uchiha
Madara, the legendary leader of the Uchiha clan, along with his brother Izuna Uchiha, was the first Uchiha to awaken the powers of the Mangekyo Sharingan. In time, he made his eyes even stronger by transplanting his brother's eyes into his, making his Mangekyo eternal in the process.
However, for some reason his Mangekyo Sharingan abilities remain unknown to this day. His only known ability is the Full-body Susanoo, which was capable of taking out all five kages at once.
He died, leaving everything to Obito, and was later resurrected during the Fourth Great Ninja War, exactly as he had planned. So, he thought, unaware that he had been manipulated by black zetsu in order to resurrect his mother, kaguya ōtsutsuki.
1. Sasuke Uchiha
Sasuke Uchiha is at the absolute top of the list, and is without a doubt the most powerful Uchiha of all time. He was the sole survivor of the Uchiha Clan massacre. Sasuke grew up hating his older brother (Uchiha itachi), whom he blamed for murdering his family for no apparent reason.
He awakened his Mangekyo sharingan after the death of his brother, and became eternal Mangekyo after transplanting itachi’s eyes into his. Hence, making him stronger.
Over the course of the series, Sasuke has amassed a great deal of power. Both the Rinnegan and the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan are in his possession. The Rinnegan gives him access to all the Six Paths Techniques as well as to Space-Time Ninjutsu. He is also able to manifest a full-body Susano. Hence, making him the strongest on the list.
