But since there are a lot of them, in this post we are only going to talk about 10 of the most memorably anime character nicknames.

Please note that they aren’t arranged in any specific order.

Which other anime universe resides such an overwhelming amount of awfully epic nicknames but One Piece?

·       There’s Whitebeard “The Strongest Man in the world”

·       The one who brought about the New Age, Blackbeard

·       World’s Strongest Swordsman Mihawk

·       The Revolutionary Dragon

·       The Hero “Garp”

·       Kaido of the beasts, “Strongest Creature”

·       Fire Fist Ace

And even the title of the Pirate King works extraordinarily well in the narrative.

However, we can’t forget the main characters themselves.

The Straw Hat Luffy, who has caused havoc in the world countless times and is the only person to have broken into all three of the govt.’s top facilities.

There’s the Pirate Hunter Zoro, the man who is continuously making the world take him seriously.

And in addition to these two, there’s the chivalrous Black Foot Sanji.

These three make up the Monster Trio which may very well be the most iconic trio in the manga world!

2 - All Might

As the world’s symbol of peace and justice, Toshinori Yagi has always been the most hyped character in My Hero Academia. He is the strongest and is almost always referred to by his Hero name “All Might.”

The word All Might roams through the anime communities, as one of the strongest anime characters there are.

3 - Kira

As the protagonist of Death Note, Light Yagami is a very unusual and maybe even a little controversial protagonist. He ended up confusing mass murder with justice, and only kept drenching darker and darker into this very idea.

Sometimes the world may have viewed his actions as justice, but in the end, Light’s identity was “Kira” which means “Killer.”

4 - White Demon

There is hardly an anime fan who has watched Gintama but didn’t like Sakata Gintoki.

He is a genuinely likeable character with distinct personality traits, but beneath that, is the identity of a white demon, the swordsman who wreaked havoc in the past.

5 - Zero

Going up against the world’s largest empire while you are still a high school student can be a pretty daunting task, maybe that’s why Lelouch hid himself under a mask and started to maintain an identity that will soon cause havoc around the world.

The identity of “Zero.”

6 - Humanity’s Strongest soldier

In a story where a normal human has been portrayed as weak and giant humanoid creatures like titans are at the top of the food chain. There exists a soldier capable of taking out just about any kind of titan all on his own.

This is Humanity’s Strongest Soldier, Captain Levi.

7 - The flame alchemist

There is an intuitively known idea that Flames are hype.

Which is exactly what broke the internet when Roy Mustang burnt down the embodiment of jealousy “Envy” countless times, in turn making it suffer countless deaths.

This is what happens when you piss off “The Flame Alchemist.”

8 - Kakashi of the Sharingan

Kakashi isn’t an Uchiha but because of certain sad events he attained Sharingan, then as years passed by, he made a name for himself throughout the world.

And before long, he was being hailed as Kakashi of the Sharingan.

9 - King of the Court

It is not unusual to see creative nicknames in sports anime.

But what makes Kageyama’s nickname “King of the Court” so rememberable is how much of a role it has played in his identity as a Setter and his mental state in general. And helped him because of it.

10 - Hero Hunter Garou

Heroes are pretty important in the One Punch Man verse, even though there are all kinds of them, they are still treated as Heroes.

This lead to the rise of an arch rival, someone who takes down Heroes.

It’s a human who chose to take up the role of a monster, “Hero Hunter Garou.”

So there you go guys, these were 10 of the most memorably anime character nicknames.
